Why did NSF choose tjecco?

Eric Scharstuhl talks about how they chose the inspection software for BuildingCompliance. This software must be able to work in multiple languages and has a few key requirements:

  • You should be able to inspect graphically with it: What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get(WYSIWYG). This means customers and employees can easily see what the inspectors found. Moreover, it should be easy to use, with a clear dashboard and proven solutions.
  • Quality is super important to NSF. Therefore, all inspectors must be certified. The software must be able to control the inspection process in the same way anywhere in the world, regardless of the type of inspection. So it should not matter whether it is a fire, legionella or HACCP inspection. The software must support every discipline but also every law and regulation associated with a particular country or discipline.
  • Inspection results must be processed in real time, allowing teams to work faster and reducing the time it takes to perform inspections. The goal is for inspection work to be scalable and transferable, making search costs a thing of the past.
  • NSF wants to distinguish itself by applying its own corporate identity in the software, including custom reports. A logo is not enough for this purpose.
  • Expertise on BuildingCompliance and inspection processes at the inspection software vendor is essential so that we as a TIC company have the right sparring partner for practical solutions.
